Damak; yeşil elma, ekşi mayalı köy ekmeği, yanık meşe, sert köşeleri olmayan ferah bir hissiyat.

From The Barrel, 100’den fazla farklı sürümden çıkan viskilerin harmanı. (%60 tahıl ve %40 malt) Her viski, karışıma girmeden önce yaklaşık 10 yıl ve bazıları için daha uzun süre olmak üzere olgunlaşıyor. Elde edilen harman yeniden fıçılara alınarak, bir kaç ay ekstra bitiş veriliyor. Viski sıcak altın sarısı renginde ama renklendirici olarak karamel kullanılıyor. Soğuk filtrasyon uygulanmadan, %51.4 ABV ile şişeleniyor. Aynı zamanda, halen Avrupa’da en çok satılan Japon viskisi olma özelliğine sahip.

First released in 1985, from a harmonious marriage of spirits sourced from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, Nikka From The Barrel represents the flagship blend from the Nikka Distillery (Est. in 1934).

Nose; caramel, orange peels, vanilla and floral notes.
Palate; green apples, sourdough bread, toasted oak, rounded edges and interestingly fresh.
Finish; medium, malt, spice, smokey sweetness and cloves.
After a couple of minutes in the glass, the whisky gets sweeter.

From The Barrel is a blend of over 100 batches (60% Coffey Grain and 40% malts). Each whisky is aged for roughly 10 years in the warehouses of these distilleries before being blended. And after that, the whisky is filled into used barrels and matured for another few months. NAS, bottled at 51,4 % ABV, 500 cl, caramel is added and non-chill filtered with warm gold in colour. And also, the best-selling Japanese whisky in Europe.
