A classic and a legendary 12-year-old expression from The Glenlivet Distillery which was founded by George Smith in 1824 and also identified with the Speyside region and that dominated the market alone for a very long time.

Nose; flower bouquet, honey, lemon, fruity and grassy.
Palate; nuts, vanilla, sweet and fresh feeling.
Finish; medium to short, malty, oaky, gentle and well-rounded.

Firstly matured in American oak casks and then transferred to European Oak Casks. 40% abv, chill-filtered and caramel coloured.
A perfect example of Speyside whisky style. It is one of the whiskies that reflect the whole character of the region; a non-confusing, smooth, cotton-like scotch and can be consumed either as a neat or a cocktail in Winter or in Summer without hesitation.
